Massive "no" in The Netherlands
The Hague/The Netherlands - The Netherlands will be saying massively no against the European Constitution. That is the result of TNS NIPO in a research conducted for RTL Television.
Increase
The yes-campaign of the Dutch cabinet seems to become an embarrassing failure. Even worse: The group of people that is going to vote against the constitution is growing every day. Of the Dutch who are sure they will be going to vote there are now two times more against than in favour of the constitution.
Against
Of the 'sure voters' 27% is in favour of the constitution, but two times more, 54% is bound and determined to vote against.
Protest
Of the no-voters 94% says that the European unification is going too fast. 58% of them is voting against the constitution as a protest against the cabinet Balkenende.
