Vote No - stepped up activities

Vote No- the British campaign against the EU Constitution- has stepped up its activities dramatically in the last week. Direct mailings were sent to thousands of businesses and supporters across the country to raise awareness of the issue. On the 27 October, Derek Scott, the Prime Minister's former economics adviser, spoke at a Vote No event and accused the UK government of being "gutless" over the issue. To coincide with the signing of the Constitution on 29 October Vote No have released a cinema advert that will be seen by over a million people.

Vote No is a campaign set up by some of Britain’s most successful entrepreneurs, economists and business leaders to stop the proposed EU Constitution. The campaign is independent of any political party, and is supported by thousands of individuals from across the country. Vote No has been working closely with the European No Campaign in order to maximise the support for the reform in the European Union and to build up opposition to the EU Constitution.
