Frattini wants to

increase pressure

Italian Foreign Minister, Franco Frattini vowed yesterday to "press" countries that are more sceptical about the EU Constitution into early ratification. He said that, "The question we are facing now is how to ratify and implement the Constitution as soon as possible... We hope all EU member states, or at least almost all of them could complete the ratification process within 2005, and the process would last till early 2006 at the most."
